Medicaid Funds for Groceries

The current administration has expanded Medicaid food assistance to allow some states to use Medicaid funds for certain food programs.  This step is important to combating a core social determinants of health condition.  People who are unable to have access to healthy food options have more medical conditions leading to higher medical costs for the health care system.
